Judd Foundation
Rooted in Judd’s philosophy of minimalism, this project is built on three visual pillars: ‘Repetition,’ ‘Seriality,’ and ‘Precision,’ all refined with a subtle touch of understated details.
As Judd stated in multiple interviews, his work was about what is actually there—the form, the space it occupies, and its interaction with its surroundings. His minimalism was not about reduction for its own sake but about creating works that were precise, autonomous, and self-sufficient.

Book covers & shipping packaging
Books have always been an integral part of the Judd Foundation, which has published numerous works to preserve and categorize Donald Judd’s art and ideas. My goal was to develop a systematic approach for a series of book covers that could adapt to expanding categories. Additionally, I designed the shipping packaging to create a cohesive and immersive experience when receiving and unboxing a new book from the foundation.

Three pillars as main visual system and motion gesture
Drawing from the three pillars I identified in Donald Judd’s interviews and design philosophy, I developed a visual system and motion language rooted in these principles. Each design pillar is paired with Judd’s work to highlight the relationship between his philosophy, artworks, and my design system.
